Art Therapy Sessions and Fun Workshops. Art therapy is a therapeutic approach that uses artistic creation (drawing, painting, sculpting, collage, etc.) as a means of self-expression and self-discovery.
I have held a degree in art therapy since 2013, and I work with children and adolescents experiencing psychological distress, for whom verbal expression may be difficult, limited, or insufficient.
Art therapy provides a space for expression and symbolization when words fail or are no longer enough. The creative process offers an alternative way to address internal conflicts, anxieties, or manifestations of distress.
In a safe and supportive environment, art therapy helps give form to emotions, thoughts, and experiences that are sometimes difficult to express in words; it mobilizes creativity and promotes well-being, personal growth, and the process of inner transformation. The goal is not to produce an aesthetic work of art, but to use the creative act as a vehicle for reflection, communication, and healing.
Anxiety, sleep disorders, school phobia, inhibition, relationship difficulties, or somatization can thus find a space for processing and psychological transformation.
