Snowshoe Hikes at Sunset in Villard-Reculas

Thanks to its southeast-facing location, the village of Villard-Reculas is the perfect place to watch sunsets with their shimmering colors.

Every Thursday evening during school breaks, the tourist office invites visitors to strap on their snowshoes and set out for the snow-covered alpine pastures. Led by a guide, this hike also offers the chance to enjoy the last rays of daylight amid the calm and serenity of the mountains as the day draws to a close. Once you reach the top of the hike, a small surprise snack is provided to recharge your energy before beginning the descent by the light of your headlamps.
