A wood painting workshop

Rodolphe Candau organises workshops in wood painting. He will guide you step-by-step through the process of creating a decorative design in acrylic paint on a wooden support.

Rodolphe CANDAU is originally from Oisans and comes from a family of mountain guides. He skillfully paints the world of the mountains. He works on a variety of media (paintings, furniture, signs, etc.) and draws inspiration from a wide range of sources: wildlife, flora, fruit, and the poya.
He is offering this event as part of “The Oisans Route of Craftsmanship.” This route brings together all the artisans, artists, producers, and cultural sites in Oisans who have agreed to open the doors of their workshops, farms, or museums to share their expertise with the public. The “Oisans Craft Trail” offers a window into the mountain culture of Uissanne, the richness of its heritage, and its diverse crafts. As you travel along its roads, you’ll discover varied landscapes and charming local personalities, and you’ll appreciate the quality of their work and the unique character of their products.
