Les Ecrins 1

Ideal for two or three families holidaying together, the "Les Ecrins" chalet has a quiet, cosy atmosphere. It is south-facing, in the heart of the Grand Domaine Ski de l'Alpe D'Huez, and has breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains.

Chalet reservable in its entirety, capacity of 20 people maximum. Facing south, the "Les Ecrins 1" apartment has a surface area of 145m² spread over two floors, and can accommodate up to 12 people. Its large balcony covering the entire front of the chalet ensures optimal sunshine all day long and its wellness area proves to be a highly popular moment of relaxation after a day out in the mountains.
"Les Ecrins 1" offers guests all the comfort of a modern apartment: its fully-equipped open kitchen (oven, microwave, induction hob, dishwasher, etc.) is perfect for preparing popular dishes, such as raclette, fondue or blueberry tart, according to the season, to be enjoyed around the large table.
After an active day in the wonderful outdoors surrounding the chalet, guests can relax on the sofas in the lounge area, with its wood-burning stove, unless they'd rather spend time in the wellness area, with its sauna and hammam.

5 bedrooms (two of which are on the mezzanine), a bathroom on the upper floor, and a shower room on the lower floor will ensure everyone has privacy. The pantry, with its shelves and second refrigerator, is very useful for storing food and drink for a whole week.

Ski enthusiasts (downhill and Nordic) you will enjoy the 250 km of slopes of the Alpe d'Huez ski area, which start just outside the chalet. And thanks to the boot dryer, guests can start their day with warm, dry feet!

And for cyclists? Whether the aim is to take part in the famous GranFondo, La Marmotte, the Alpe d'HuZes charity race, the Alpe d'Huez Duo or Triathlon, or simply to climb the famous Tour de France passes, cyclists will get off to a good start as the mythical Alpe d'Huez climb with its 21 bends is located less than 5 kilometres from the chalet. The large garage is perfect for storing bikes and maintenance equipment is available for use.
All other mountain activities (hiking, trail running, mountain biking, etc.) can be enjoyed directly from the chalet, which is located in the upper part of the village.

Note that the chalet has a second apartment "Les Ecrins 2" on the ground floor. Although smaller, it offers the same comfort as the first, with a fully-equipped, open-plan kitchen (oven, microwave, dishwasher, etc.) dining area and living room, 2 bedrooms + 1 alcove, sleeping for a maximum of 8 guests, a bathroom with toilet and shower room, a separate toilet, balcony, garden and jacuzzi.
These 2 apartments can be rented together and will then sleep up to 20 guests.

Practical information:
Sheets are provided and beds are made on arrival.
Towel kit: one large and one small towel: €5 per kit
Baby equipment available (folding bed, bathtub, chair, Jané 3-wheeled stroller)

End-of-holiday cleaning for "Les Ecrins 1" is available for an additional €200.
The entire fee goes to the cleaning staff, who clean the chalet from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Visitor's tax not included, payable on arrival.
The deposit of €800 will be returned no later than 7 days after departure.

Week: 2,700 to 7,000 €.
