Les Balcons d'Auris

Isolated chalet located below the ski resort of Auris, a satellite of Alpe d'Huez, in the upper Oisans region, with splendid views of the Écrins massif and the Meije peak, a world-renowned mountaineering landmark.

Very sunny, on a south-facing slope facing the 2 ALPES, it offers a remarkable view of the LA MEIJE glacier and the peaks of the PARC NATIONAL DES ECRINS.
The panorama also plunges down to the Romanche valley and the hamlets of Auris.
To the west, you can see the Auris larch forest and resort.
Just 3 km from the resort, slightly set back from the hamlet of COURS, the house offers you your own quiet, peaceful corner of the mountains.
As you enter the gîte, you'll find a large hallway leading to the corridor with the 5 bedrooms: CH 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 and 5, and a wide staircase leading to the 2nd floor, the main rooms and the 3 other bedrooms.
The entrance hall features a large closet and shoe storage space, as well as a bench for easy removal of shoes.
The light oak kitchen and dining area are equipped with all the comforts you need to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There's a library for your family evenings, as well as several board games.
On the upper level, which houses the main rooms: living room with kitchen, a large hallway leads to 3 bedrooms.
The other bedrooms are on the 1st level of the house, on either side of a corridor leading to the entrance hall (each bedroom has its own bathroom with washbasin and shower).

Quietly located 400 m from the village, the gîte is not too isolated: 3 km away, you'll find the resort with its 2 mini-markets (Sherpa and 8 à Huit), its doctor's surgery (pharmacy and radiology) and its mountain rescue center.
