Description
A friendly welcome in the former school and presbytery, which have been renovated into a simple and modest gîte with a mountain character, offering you calm and comfort.
The gîte:
Bedroom for 4 to 5 people with single and bunk beds, family room with 1 double bed and 3 single bunk beds.
The family room can be booked for two, subject to availability.
Each room has its own shower room and WC.
An entertainment room with a fireplace and a corner where you can store your midday and 4pm snacks in the fridge and cupboard. (Microwave, coffeemaker and kettle available).
We are located 5 km from the Serre-Chevalier ski area and the Monêtier les Bains baths, in the small, peaceful hamlet of Le Lauzet at an altitude of 1650 m, at the gateway to the Parc des Ecrins.
From the gîte, you can go hiking, climbing, via ferrata, mountain biking & road cycling (with the mythical cols of the Tour de France), fishing in torrents or lakes, horse riding & pony trekking for the little ones, (in winter snowshoeing & ski touring), or simply relax on the lawn in front of the gîte.

Take a step aside! Away from Monêtier-les-Bains, in a secluded hamlet in the Guisane valley, Isabelle and Marc welcome you, summer and winter alike, to their mountain gîte.
At 1670 m, with the rocky summit from which it takes its name as a backdrop, Aiguillette du Lauzet is the ideal destination for a group retreat in the heart of nature.
A former mountain guide, Marc will be able to advise you and show you routes off the beaten track. Experience adventure on foot, horseback, bike, ski touring or kayak, exploring the wide-open spaces of the Parc National des Écrins. Take a deep breath!
