The surroundings are exceptional for all outdoor activities, including white water sports on the Romanche and Vénéon rivers.
Peace and quiet just a stone's throw from the shops. There is a grocery shop and restaurant in Mizoën, supermarkets in Les 2 Alpes and Bourg d'Oisans and a service station/post office in Freney d'Oisans. Besse has a artisanal bakery.
